Baldwin design and build first class control panels, supplying to some of the big names within the food processing industry. They are partnered with Sugden Limited who are a World’s Leader in the design and manufacture of Hotplate Plants for the production of products such as Pancakes, English Muffins and Crumpets.

Within the hotplate plants there are several drives which must be synchronised and corrected if any positional error is detected. Lenze 9400 Servo PLCs were chosen for this task, for which I wrote the software. In addition to the ovens, I have written the software for complete systems, from dough handling to baking, using both Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs.
